Environmental Management at Production Scale
IWAN owns a tomato farm in Washington, USA, growing cluster tomatoes across a 3-hectare greenhouse. In 2019, IWAN decided to expand the farm to 5 hectares and established more advanced planting facilities and control systems to reduce reliance on manual labour.
The lack of professional agronomic managers created obstacles for IWAN in expanding its planting area. Farmnet provided the advanced HOSMART climate control system and FISMART water and fertilizer control system to manage the expanded automated greenhouse.
